Project Dutch election

Our second project around COVID-19 solutions was to determine the capacity of polling stations for the parliamentary elections of March 2021.

At uCrowds BV, we believe in using simulation software to ensure safety of employees. Two examples are shown where our software, SimCrowds, was used by Nobleo Manufacturing to successfully advise different clients to deal with COVID-19.

The first project was to provide a city office with appropriate advice to Gemeente Utrecht on how to reopen after a lockdown while keeping the risk of spreading COVID-19 to a minimum. The second project was to determine the capacity of polling stations for the parliamentary elections of March 2021, which was carried out for the Dutch Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties. A research was conducted on the effects of the COVID-19 measures on the voting process within polling stations ensuring the 1.5 meters of physical distance. Read more on Nobleo’s website.
