Best 10 governmental ICT projects

uCrowds was part of a project that has been nominated for the Best 10 governmental ICT projects.

A ‘pressure meter’ for more insight into and control of the hustle and bustle in Utrecht. That is the innovation project ‘The city as a daily event’ in a nutshell. The Dutch Ministry of Internal affairs (Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties) awarded this project a contribution from the Innovation Budget in 2020. Gemeente Utrecht, Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek, Movares, uCrowds and Utrecht University are working together on this project to provide insight into the bustle in Utrecht’s city center and to manage its consequences. The goal: to make the city more accessible, safer and more liveable.
