Test live simulations on Remembrance Day

Today’s Remembrance Day (Dodenherdenking) in City of Amsterdam was not only a moment of deep collective remembrance, but also an opportunity to quietly test innovations that support public safety behind the scenes.

During this national moment of silence, we successfully streamed our real-time crowd simulation from SimCrowds directly into MapGallery, the web-based GIS platform. This marks an important step forward in our collaboration within the IGV Fieldlab SAIL2025 initiative.

By integrating live simulation data into spatial decision-making tools, we’re helping cities prepare and respond more effectively to large-scale public events. Many thanks to our partners and the dedicated teams working tirelessly in the background to make this possible.
