I was interviewed about SimCrowds, our crowd simulation software for the 1,5-meter society, by the Dutch news paper, Algemeen Dagblad (AD).

The New Scientist has written an article in the series “Voorbij de waan” about Spread, spread, spread: how the corona crisis changes our society, and how crowd simulation R&D of Utrecht University and uCrowds BV can help.

Two months ago, we celebrated with a cake that we had crossed the 100 000 threshold in our interactive, real-time engine for simulating pedestrians. Meanwhile, my team has boosted the engine’s performance by 50%, unlocking 150k real-time simulated pedestrians.
